A company in Jiangsu declared to export a batch of kraft paper bags. After inspection, it was found that the actual export goods were about 1 million non-medical masks, about 16,000 goggles, about 1200 pairs of protective shoe covers, about 2200 protective masks, about 7000 sets of medical protective clothing, about 5620 sets of medical forehead temperature, and about 2200 sets of medical disposable isolation gowns, and the above goods were suspected to be unqualified. The parties are suspected of evading commodity inspection and impersonating qualified products with unqualified products at the same time.

 

At present, Shenzhen Customs has filed a case for investigation and the case is under further investigation.

On April 23, when Ningde Customs, a subsidiary of Fuzhou Customs, inspected four batches of 450,000 masks declared as "non-medical masks", it was found that 144,600 outer packaging instructions were mixed with the words "for clinical personnel to wear during non-invasive operations" and "properly dispose of medical waste after use", which were suspected of being medical masks, which were inconsistent with the declaration, after inquiring about the medical device registration information of the State Food and Drug Administration, the mask manufacturer did not obtain the registration certificate of medical device products in China. At the same time, the above masks also have the shelf life marked on the outer package and the shelf life of the product certificate do not match. At present, suspected medical masks have been seized and handed over to the anti-smuggling department for disposal.

 

03 Seized 30,000 Non-medical Masks Suspected of Exporting Medical Supplies

 

On April 10, Pingtan Customs, a subsidiary of Fuzhou Customs, inspected a batch of "medical N95 protective masks" and found that the masks were N95 protective masks, with the production standard EN149:2001, which was a non-medical protective mask standard. The scope of the medical device registration certificate submitted by the enterprise at the time of declaration is medical protective masks, which are inconsistent with the actual export goods, and are suspected of exporting non-medical materials as medical materials. At present, the masks have been seized and handed over to the general department for follow-up disposal.

 

04 Seize 10000 disposable protective masks at the outlet

 

The Rongcheng Customs Office in Fuqing, which belongs to Fuzhou Customs, found that the goods were hidden during the inspection of a ticket of dried fungus. In the subsequent manual inspection, 10000 disposable protective masks were found hidden in five boxes of dried fungus cartons. The outer package contained the English medical word "SURGICAL". The enterprise admitted the fact of the possession and provided the mask purchase invoice. At present, the goods have been seized and handed over to the legal department for subsequent disposal.

 

05 Seized 101,600 masks with unknown shelf life.

 

Fuzhou Changle Airport Customs, which belongs to Fuzhou Customs, found that the shelf life of the masks was inconsistent when inspecting a batch of 101,600 goods declared as "non-medical self-priming filter STARKIT brand KN95 protective masks": the production date of the goods was 2020/03/24, and the carton of the actual goods was written "valid until 03/24/2025", while the carton of the small package of the actual goods was written as valid for 3 years, however, the validity period on the attached product certificate is 2 years and 5 years, which are inconsistent. At present, the masks have been seized and handed over to the general department for follow-up disposal.

 

06100,000 unlicensed non-medical masks with unqualified packaging marks were seized.

 

A Fujian international trade co., ltd. declared to Fuzhou customs to export a batch of 100,000 "unlicensed non-medical disposable protective masks". after on-site inspection by customs officers, it was found that the 100,000 masks were in crude bulk. the labels on the packaging bags did not have the necessary information such as the name and address of the manufacturer, specifications, models, ingredients and materials. at present, the goods have been seized and handed over to the comprehensive department for subsequent disposal.

 

The General Administration of Market Supervision has organized a special spot check on the quality supervision of non-medical mask products, and a total of 51 batches of unqualified products from 47 enterprises have been detected. The list of unqualified batches for the quality supervision and spot check of non-medical masks is hereby announced as follows.
